McDonald's has announced the launch of CosMc's, a new chain centered around beverages like coffee, signaling a direct challenge to Starbucks and Dunkin'. This strategic move aims to ramp up afternoon sales for the fast-food giant.

The company opened it’s first restaurant on December 1st in Bolingbrook, Illinois. While planning to open more in 2024, it is currently part of a limited test run.

CosMc’s harmoniously merges innovative, celestial drink concoctions with a concise menu featuring a handful of beloved McDonald’s classics. The aim? Elevating your spirits to otherworldly heights, if only for a fleeting yet delightful moment.

The Menu

McDonald’s describes the CosMc’s menu as an adventure in beverages, featuring daring and surprising flavor blends, vivid hues, and functional enhancements.

This translates to an expansive array of beverages encompassing coffees, lemonades, and an assortment of energy-boosting options like the invigorating Sour Cherry Energy Burst, the tantalizingly exotic Tropical Spiced, and the indulgent S’mores Cold Brew.

When it comes to food offerings, CosMc’s showcases the zesty Spicy Queso Sandwich and the luscious Creamy Avocado Tomatillo Sandwich among its sandwich selections. Beyond these, an enticing array of sweet and savory snacks awaits your selection, ensuring a diverse and satisfying dining experience.

Anticipate encountering a handful of timeless McDonald’s favorites adorning the menu; however, the absence of combo meals remains a distinctive feature of the CosMc’s dining experience.

The renowned burger chain unveiled its ambitious strategy to launch a staggering 10,000 fresh restaurants worldwide within the upcoming four years. The primary focus of this expansion lies predominantly in international territories, marking a significant leap in its global footprint.
