Growth, Connecting, and Longevity.
Good morning! ❤️ Welcome to the new platform I’ll be posting on!

Happy Wednesday!
I hope you’re all having a wonderful week so far! We are halfway through the final…ish weeks of July and slowly starting to creep into August with much on our minds!
First, how is it already August?!?! It does not seem like it could have come this quickly! I’m excited for the fall but cannot wait to be done with my associates! I only have one more semester, and I am officially done before I move into getting my bachelor’s. I never would’ve thought I would have been here, but with a lot of determination and self-respect, I have!
Second, what have you been up to? I want to hear from you about where you’ve been, what you’ve been doing, and how you are doing it. So far, summer has been decent. I got so much experience these past few weeks working with high schoolers, and it has been so much fun! Not only that, but I got a new car because I totaled my last one because of a deer… I know… When will this stop…? It's probably during the only season where deer aren’t present… Winter.
Third, I plan on doing more of what I love: cooking! A few weeks ago, I enjoyed working with Chef James Rigato of Mabel Grey and loved experiencing what it was like to cook on a much more meaningful level! I want to cook, experience, and live a little more.
However, for the sake of this newsletter, I WILL keep it short and sweet. If there’s one thing I love, it’s connecting. Connecting with those I don’t know, don’t see, and can learn from. I love going on LinkedIn and reaching out to those doing what I can see myself doing in the long run. It’s super beneficial, and there are so many reasons why connecting with those you see yourself working with in the future is essential. I have had the pleasure of setting up meetings with those I know I want to talk to in the future and be a part of their bigger picture while having them be a part of my bigger picture.
I love knowing what people are up to, but I also love not knowing where these specific paths can take me in the future. An open mind allows you to feel and connect with yourself more deeply. There’s something so special about being able to light a candle that brings you joy and take a walk when you know it’s necessary instead of feeling sorry for yourself and staying put when you can make yourself feel better, be around people who uplift you, and take care of yourself in a way you know how.
I have had the pleasure of learning to accept what is coming to me because, on the other hand, what might be happening to you now might be challenging, and the result can be very beneficial. Previously, I had some terrible luck, but the outcome was much more significant than I had ever expected. I am eternally grateful for that and will consider it a learning opportunity and something to be thankful for.
I hope you carry some immense gratitude with you the rest of this week and so on, but also know that the bad things that might be happening to you now will NOT last forever.
Cheers,
Ariana :^)
