Learning, Living, Loving, and Laughing
Thank you for being you!
Loving to laugh is almost universal. I’ve hardly come across someone who doesn’t enjoy a good laugh (well, maybe once or twice, and they weren’t exactly friendly). Laughter has this amazing way of bringing people to together and breaking down differences. It’s like a shared language that connects us all.
Growing up, I always managed to find a way to laugh about things and make light of situations, at least sometimes. Sure, there are plenty of reasons for people to be in a bad mood, but taking it out on others is a different kind of bad mood and not fair to those you take it out on.
It’s crucial to learn how to control yourself, and sometimes people don’t grasp how harmful it can be to the relationships you have with others. It can seriously affect your connections with people. It leaves lasting impressions, leaves a terrible image of you in their mind, and doesn’t help your relationship with that person either!
Thi spring break, I’ve made a conscious decision to invest time and effort in bettering myself. Whether it’s enjoying leisurely walks, finally indulging in that shirt I’ve had my eye on, or simply allowing myself a well-deserved moment of relaxation, this goal is clear - self-improvement. The persistent presence of self-doubt has proven to be a formidable component, and I am determined to conquer it during this spring break. Taking steps to prioritize my well-being feels like a significant leap towards personal growth and a more fulfilling life.
I hope you can take a moment to relax and move through the upcoming week with ease, as you definitely deserve a break too! I’d love to know how you unwind and refresh your mind!
I’ve been eyeing a book called “Dopamine Detox: A Short Guide to Remove Distractions and Get Your Brain to Do Hard Things” for a while now. if you’re looking for na affordable read to ground yourself, check it out on Amazon! Priced at $9.99, it’s a great deal. Take notes and reflect - you deserve it! (this is not an AD I can assure you, I just have heard high praises about this book and I am interested in it myself!)
Continue to have a great week and remember a bad day does NOT define you!
With love,
Ariana :)
