I’ve been itching to craft a post for all of you of quite some time now. Instead of sharing something I’ve previously written, I’ve decided to cook up something entirely new - a fresh piece. While Taco Bell recently launched an extensive value menu, that’s just the tip of the iceberg for what’s coming in the year ahead. during the Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas, the company hosted Live Man Live, a thrilling livestream event filled with exciting product reveals. Among the highlights were the debut of Cantina Chicken Menu and strategic partnerships with brands like Cheez-It, Tajin, and the ever-popular Mountain Dew.

TBX, Taco Bell’s innovative program shining a spotlight on rising culinary talents.Jennifer Haw Dobbertin, ReubenAsaram, and Lawrence Smith - will put their own spins on the Taco Bell favorite, and their creations will debut later this year at select locations.

Here’s a sneak peek at what else the fast-food chain has in store.

The Cantina Chicken Menu

Taco Bell is set to revolutionize its Cantina Chicken Menu with a fresh take on chicken, featuring oven-roasted, shredded goodness infused with flavorful Mexican spices like pasilla and other chiles.

This innovative menu introduces a slew of new ingredients to the Taco Bell lineup, including purple cabbage, pico de Gallo, while corn taco shells, and a game changer sauce packet called Avocado Verde Salsa.

Five mew additions are set to hit nationwide soon: The Cantina Chicken Burrito, a choice of soft of crispy Cantina Chicken Taco, the Cantina Chicken Quesadilla, and the Cantina Chicken Bowl.

Nationwide Menu Additions

Taco Bell is embracing bolder Mexican-inspired flavors with the introduction of over a dozen menu items, available for a limited time at participating locations while supplies last. These include:

  • Cheesy Chicken Crispanada: Launching on February 15th, this indulgent treat boasts marinated and slow-cooked chicken infused with garlic, tomato, and onion, enveloped in a crispy Taco Bell pastry dough filled with a decadent blend of Monterey Pepper Jack, Cheddar, and Mozzarella cheeses.

  • Crispy Chicken Nuggets: After successful testing in Minneapolis in October 2023, Taco Bell is rolling out its Crispy Chicken Nuggets to a wider audience. These nuggets are crafted from all-white meat chicken meat marinated in spiced jalapeño buttermilk, breaded, and fried. Choose between two enticing sauces: Bell sauce with tomatoes, red chiles, onion, garlic, or Jalapeño Honey Mustard

  • Cheesy Street Chalupas: A unique creation featuring a cheesy flatbread and a small tortilla filled with a blend of mozzarella and pepper jack cheeses, fried together and stuffed with slow-roasted chicken or marinated grilled steak. Finished with a flavorful sauce, diced onions, and cilantro, each order includes two mouthwatering chalupas.

  • Mountain Dew Baja Blast Gelato: Making its nationwide debut in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Mountain Dew Baja Blast, this gelato dessert is infused with the tropical lime flavor, a delightful treat that originated from testing in 2023.

  • Cheesy Enchilada Dipping Taco: A creative twist on the quesairria-inspired Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco, this new version pays homage to the classic enchilada. Featuring slow-roasted chicken and layered enchilada dipping sauce, it’s a flavorful and satisfying addition.

  • Dulce de Leche Cinnabon Delights: Adding a new flavor to its Cinnabon Delights lineup, Taco Bell introduces the Dulce De Leche variation, offering a sweet and indulgent twist to the popular treat.

Brand Collaborations

  • Cheez-It: The Cheez-It Crunchwrap, promising to make a substantial. impact (details on the magnitude still pending). This returning favorite features an enlarged Cheez-It cracker,, scaled up to 16 times its usual size embracing seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, and all the essential Crunchwrap components neatly wrapped inside a folded tortilla.

  • Tajin Treats: Tajik is set to infuse its spicy, tangy goodness into Taco Bell classics through exciting new menu tests. Expect to tantalize your taste bugs with the Tajin Crunchy Taco, Tajik Twists, and the innovative Tajik Strawberry Freeze.

  • Secret Aardvark Collaboration: Taco Bell is teaming with with Portland-based hot sauce brand Secret Aardvark to inrtroduce its Serrabanero sauce nationwide. This unique blend off Serrano and habanero peppers, along with onions, tomatillos, and a medley of spices, will enhance the flavor of Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries.

  • Disha Hot by Omar Apollo: Exclusive to Taco Bell, Disha Hot, the hot sauce from Omar Apollo’s family, is getting its very own sauce packet.

  • Salt & Straw’s Ice Cream Chocolate Taco: Portland-based ice cream company Salt & Straw brings an innovative twist to Taco Bell with its Ice Cream Chocolate Taco. Featuring waffle cones, cinnamon ancho ice cream dinned in chocolate, and crowned with toasted brown rice, this delectable creation is currently undergoing testing in Taco Bell’s development pipeline.

  • Beekeeper Coffee Collaboration: Known for its honey-infused ready-to-drink cold brew coffee and lattes, Beekeeper Coffee Joins forces with Taco Bell to present the Horchata Cold Brew Latter. Currently undergoing testing, this enticing beverage promises to blend the rich flavors of cold brew with the delightful touch of horchata sweetness.
